The Beatles Abbey Road-Era Large C-Print Photograph, Signed by Photographer Jean-Marie Périer

A large black and white C-print photograph (a photographic print made from a negative or slide) by French photographer Jean-Marie Périer depicting The Beatles, signed, inscribed, dated, numbered, and embossed by Périer verso. All four British rock 'n roll bandmates are shown in this Abbey Road-era photograph, including, from left to right, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Harrison, and John Lennon. A Fahey/Klein Gallery (Los Angeles, California) studio label affixed verso gives the working title as "The Beatles in the Studio (B + W formal portrait), Abbey Road, London," ed. 2/15. The actual size of the photograph is 16.875" x 23.785" and the sight size of the photograph is 14.75" x 22." Matted and framed in a sleek black frame. Not examined out of the frame. Minor loss to the lower right corner of the frame, else near fine. The overall framed size is 30.875" x 25" x 1."

Jean-Marie Périer (born 1940) began his career as a magazine assistant in the 1950s. Périer served as the lead photographer of "Salut Les Copains," a popular French music magazine, between 1962-1974. In this role, Périer photographed many of the most iconic artists of the 1960s on both sides of the Atlantic, including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, James Brown, Miles Davis, and Johnny Hallyday. Périer became a director of television commercials and a documentary filmmaker during his later career.

This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.

Unless otherwise indicated, we do our own in-house worldwide shipping!

Applicable shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. We offer several shipping options, and remain one of the few auction houses who proudly provides professional in-house shipping as an option to our clients. All items will ship with signature required, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.

Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included. ***We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice. If any changes to the shipping address need to be made, you must inform us immediately.***

International shipments: In order to comply with our insurance provider, all international shipments will be sent via Fed Ex and customs paperwork will show a value of $1.00. International buyers should contact our office directly with any questions regarding this policy.
