Superb signed photograph, believed to be taken during a Press conference during the Apollo-Soyuz Project. The photograph shows the Russian team of astronauts and associated personal and was signed by 9 members as shown below. Near fine condition, 9.25" x 8"

The Apollo-Soyuz Test Project was a mission involving a Soyuz spacecraft from the Soviet Union which was to be sent into orbit followed several hours later by an Apollo spacecraft from the United States. The two spacecrafts were to rendezvous and then dock. The primary objective of the joint flight of an Apollo-type spacecraft and a Soyuz-type spacecraft is to test the compatibility of systems for rendezvous and docking of future manned spacecraft and stations. Joint working groups of engineers and scientists from both countries have been established to work out the procedures and hardware required. These include the design of an androgynous docking system, a docking module, peripheral in-flight techniques, communications and controls, life support systems and the difference in language.
