Baseball - On pictorial Brooklyn Dodgers letterhead picturing Ebbets Field, General Manager Bob Quinn writes to an aspiring baseball scout – "I thought best to give you the real dope in order that you might try to get on with some other Ball Club" Typed Letter Signed "Bob Quinn" as General Manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers, 1 page, 8.25" x 11". Brooklyn, New York, December 7, 1934. One word holograph addition. To William J. Hinchman, Philadelphia. Fine condition.

Salutation "Dear Billy:" In full, "I am sorry but I do not think there would be any chance for you with our Ball Club for the simple reason that the Manager and Board of Directors would have a lot to do picking any one for any Minor League connection. It so happens that there is quite a few players that have been connected with the Brooklyn Club that are always writing for a job. Consequently, there is not much chance of a young man breaking in here. I thought best to give you the real dope in order that you might try to get on with some other Ball Club.
