LINCOLN ASSASSINATION. Autograph Letter Signed, "A. C. Richards", 1 p. front and verso, "Oct. 1901", Eustis, 7.75" x 9.75".  Folds, creasing, else Very Good.

In fact such a course on the part of our government should be welcomed by them. If we are to wait for the commission of overt acts of violence and undertake to permit only such as are guilty of such acts on proof of the same we will never get rid of anarchists. Those fellows will face death for the notoriety they may gain by the murder of our Presidents and others. Under their training they nerve themselves for the ordeal they must meet when selected to murder one in authority…"
