1985 Reggie Jackson Signed Game Used Jersey Showcasing "Moderate Game Wear" MEARS A10.

Grey California Angels Jersey, produced by Goodman, the jersey supplier for the Angels from 1982-1986. The jersey is boldly signed underneath Jackson's "44" with his full name signature as "Reggie Jackson." The jersey can be pinpointed to the 1985 season per the 25th-anniversary patch on the right sleeve. The tag indicates that this jersey is size 48. "Angels" is written in red script tackle twill outlined in black across the chest. His uniform number "44" appears just below the team name to the right in red tackle twill outlined in black. His number "44" also appears on the back in larger red tackle twill outlined in black. Across the shoulders reads his last name "JACKSON" which is written out in red on black tackle twill. On the right sleeve is a 25th-anniversary logo for the California Angels while the Angels logo is embroidered on the left sleeve.

This uniform comes with an LOA from MEARS grading the uniform an A10. The Letter of Opinion states that the jersey showcases "moderate wear consistent with what you would expect to find on his shirts from the era."

This jersey sold in Heritage Auctions in 2016 for $3,585.

Reggie Jackson is one of the most iconic baseball players of all time, having played 21 seasons in Major League Baseball. He was born on May 18, 1946 in Wyncote, Pennsylvania and was raised in Cheltenham Township. Jackson was an All-Star in 14 of his 21 seasons, and was consistent in both his power-hitting and defensive prowess. He was a member of five World Series teams, winning three championships. He was also named MVP of the 1973 World Series and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993. Jackson played for the Kansas City/Oakland Athletics (1967-1975 and 1987), Baltimore Orioles (1976-1977), New York Yankees (1977-1981) and California Angels (1982-1986). During his career he accumulated 2,584 hits, 563 home runs, and 1,702 RBIs. He was known for his power-hitting and clutch playoff performances, and he was nicknamed "Mr. October" for his World Series heroics. Jackson was a 14-time All-Star and a two-time Silver Slugger Award winner.

We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.
