Description:

World Trade Center Recovered Items and Commemorative Pieces, Post 9/11

A group of World Trade Center items, post-September 11, 2001. The group contains a mix of commemorative memorabilia and ephemera from the site. Included are the following:

1. World Trade Center Recovered Steel. A steel block measuring 3" x 3" x 0.375", weighing one pound, recovered from Ground Zero of the World Trade Center after 9/11. Housed in a wooden Cantor Fitzgerald and bcg commemorative box. The inside of the lid had been engraved with the words "You Will Always Be a Part of Our Family." These special pieces were given as tribute to the families of those employees who lost their lives that day. Cantor Fitzgerald had headquarters on floors 101-105 of One World Trade Center and lost more than two-thirds of its workforce. Very fine.

2. Three Port Authority Passes. All measuring between 2.5" x 3.5" and 2.75" x 4", dated circa 2002-2003. The group includes two day passes and one Press pass. Expected light wear.

3. World Trade Center Production Crew Pass. Measuring 3" x 3.875", valid from September 6-13, 2002. Expected light wear.

4. World Trade Center Ground Zero Stone. Measuring 0.75" x 0.5" x 0.5", recovered from the base of the World Trade Center after the attacks on September 11, 2001. Expected wear.

A remarkable group of items that memorialize the events and victims of those who died on September 11, 2001, following a terrorist attack.

This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
