Three Kennedy Woman Signed Letters, Kennedy, Radziwill, & Auchincloss

Three separate letters signed by Kennedy related women.  From the collection of Ronald Hoskins, assassinologist.

Each described individually below:

1) A single page typed letter signed by Jacqueline Kennedy on black bordered mourning stationary. Dated 'December 8, 1964", and signed "Jackie" with the added postscript of "The memo impressed me as much as much as the belt did John!". 6.25" x 9.25". Near fine with center fold. Written to the Military aid to the President, Maj. General Chester V. Clifton. A lovely thank you letter to "Ted" (Chester Victor Clifton) thanking him for sending John "the military belt." Jackie added "He is so delighted -- and it has become part of his daily attire. He wears it proudly and nothing could have pleased him more..."

Chester Victor Clifton Jr. (September 24, 1913 – December 23, 1991) was a Major General in the United States Army and an aide to Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson

2) Single page autograph letter signed on pale blue stationary by Janet Lee Auchincloss "Janet Lee Auchincloss" on letterhead of Hammersmith Farm, Newport, Rhode Island. 5.75" x 7.75". Auchincloss was formally Janet Lee Bouvier, the mother of the former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy. Her letter was written in response to a request for her autograph "...Here is my autograph - and thank you for wanting it. Good luck to you in your collection..."

3)  A four page autograph letter signed by Lee Radziwill on letterhead of 4, Buckingham Place, S.W.1., Victoria 0545. Dated "Monday" and signed by Radziwill as "With Anxiety L.R." Near fine with expected fold and staple holes to upper left corner. Radziwill writes to Mr. Hunt "...Your patience may be wearing thin but its nothing compared to the mood this 'piece' has put me in! I can't wait to get rid of it. I wish I never started it or rather I wish I hadn't chosen such a tricky subject..."

We do our own in-house worldwide shipping!

Applicable shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. We offer several shipping options, and remain one of the few auction houses who proudly provides professional in-house shipping as an option to our clients. All items will ship with signature required, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.

Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included. ***We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice, unless you inform us otherwise, immediately upon your receipt of invoice***

International shipments: In order to comply with our insurance provider, all international shipments will be sent via Fed Ex and customs paperwork will show a value of $1.00. International buyers should contact our office directly with any questions regarding this policy.

Third Party Shipping Option: If a third party shipper is preferred, the buyer is responsible for contacting them directly to make shipping arrangements. For your convenience, we have provided some recommended shippers.
