Silver Coins Incl. JFK Commemoratives, 20 Pcs, Balance of Hoskins Estate

A small collection of silver coins, medals, and miscellany including pieces commemorating 35th U.S. President John F. Kennedy (1917-1963). This valuable dealers' lot of 20 pieces total dates between ca. 1878 - 2006, with several pieces marked between 90 - 99% silver. Expected wear including isolated light surface scratches and tarnish, else very good. Provenance: From the collection of Ron Hoskins, assassinologist.

Kennedyiana comprises over half of the lot (12 pieces). These include:

- Four large medals, modeled after the 1964 West German design, showing the John F. Kennedy assassination on one side and the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald by Jack Ruby on the other. Three have varying degrees of tarnish, one is bright. Each measures 2.375" in diameter. Plus a smaller encapsulated medal depicting the same scenes.

- John F. Kennedy 1964 Memorial Half Dollar coin.

- Encapsulated 99% silver medal commemorating John F. Kennedy, Jr.

- Sterling silver medal commemorating the Silver Jubilee Episcopal Consecration of Richard Cardinal Cushing, a close Kennedy Family friend.

- Kennedy Memorial Jerusalem medal.

- Pacific Mint Jackie O. medal, a bizarre collectible showing JFK and Aristotle Onassis facing off above the Capitol Building recto, and a nude Jackie verso.

- "The Kennedys / Edward, Robert, John" medal.

- Sterling silver and presumed turquoise mosaic JFK necklace pendant on chain.

Other miscellaneous pieces include:

- 2006 American Eagle One Dollar coin, 99% silver bullion troy ounce proof, contained in a custom blue velvet case and clamshell box.

- Last Year of Issue Mint Mark Collection of three 1945 Mercury Dimes from Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco, 90% silver.

- 1878 Morgan One Dollar coin with holder.

- 1993 Walking Liberty One Dollar coin.

- Medal commemorating Mercury-Atlas 6 mission.

- Thai scimitar form silver letter opener, the handle featuring dancing figures, and the blade engraved, 7.5" long.

This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.

We do our own in-house worldwide shipping!

Applicable shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. We offer several shipping options, and remain one of the few auction houses who proudly provides professional in-house shipping as an option to our clients. All items will ship with signature required, and full insurance. Most items are sent via Federal Express, with P. O. Box addresses being sent through USPS. We insure through Berkley Asset Protection with rates of $.70 per $100 of value, among the lowest insurance rates in the industry. Our shipping department cameras document every package, both outgoing and incoming, for maximum security. In addition, we compare our shipping and handling rates against those of other auction houses, to ensure that our charges are among the lowest in the trade.

Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included. ***We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice, unless you inform us otherwise, immediately upon your receipt of invoice***

International shipments: In order to comply with our insurance provider, all international shipments will be sent via Fed Ex and customs paperwork will show a value of $1.00. International buyers should contact our office directly with any questions regarding this policy.
