1p typed, measuring 5.75" x 7.75", New York, no date [postmarked January 14, 1993]. A short letter addressed to Elisa Sullivan. Jackie has handwritten the salutation "Dear Elisa" and signed at the conclusion "Jackie." A short thank you letter regarding a recent accident.
How thoughtful of you to send me the sweet card. Luckily, the accident was not a serious one and I am fully recovered. All the best to you.
Accompanied by the original envelope. The letter has a flattened mail fold and is boldly signed. Usual wear and soiling to the envelope. From the collection of Ron Hoskins, assassinologist.
It is unknown what accident is being referred to, but later in the year, after being thrown from a horse, Jackie Kennedy was examined at the hospital and it was found that she had non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. She passed away just over a year after this letter was written, on May 19, 1994, at the age of 64.
