"Will you and your brother & sister favour me with your company at tea tomorrow evening. We trust that your Papa & Mama will allow Fanny to come to us, it is quite a young party, we expect the little Miss Murrays from Albermarle Street. I hope you will have no objection to come among such young people, but I am in hope that you will have no dislike to come & see me & keep me company amongst them. We hope we shall be fortunate in finding you disposed. Pray favor us early, 5 o'clock...

Yours truly

Benjamin D'israeli

Pray request of your Mamma in all our names to allow Fanny to visit us tomorrow we are all so anxious to see her..."

Benjamin Disraeli was born in 1804, making him about 13-14 years of age when he wrote this letter signing in his birth name, D'Israeli. (Benjamin was born in London to Isaac and Maria D'Israeli). When he reached twelve, his father converted them to the Anglican Church from Judaism, and Benjamin later Anglicized his name from D'Israeli to Disraeli for his employment in Maples's law firm in 1821.
